ABMen Disaster Relief in Action

These pictures were taken 24-25 April 2001 during a clean-up effort of Hoisington, Kansas in the aftermath of a 21 April tornado.  American Baptist Men of the US Central Region assisted in the clean-up.  These pictures are to illustrate the power of nature and the awesome power of God to spare so many lives and to bring together a wide community to help put the pieces back together.  These pictures represent only a miniscule portion of the destruction.  They should compel you to action.  If not direct support, then monetary support to the American Baptist Men Disaster Relief trailer that supplied the necessary tools and supplies for volunteers, the Salvation Army that supplied food, supplies and shelter for victims and volunteers, and the American Red Cross that provided health and welfare support.   After you look at the photos below, click here to see how things progressed as of August 18, 2001  PANORAMIC PHOTO.
